Fougaire raises its green fist in a revolutionary salute and takes us into open spaces beyond black/white, woman/man. Nothing is clear, everything is permitted. Identity becomes fluid and a playground for confident interpretations. With an explosion of fresh, resinous fern, FOUGAIR defines the direction of visionAIR. The gender-neutral composition is given an edge by the refined essence of urban jungle and clean chords of pink pepper. Deep down, patchouli, fir, and lorenox pulsate sensually.
With FOUGAIR, JF Schwarzlose Berlin once again sets the trend standards. Perfumer Véronique Nyberg has composed the ninth fragrance by JF Schwarzlose Berlin, transcending classic genre classifications. Inspired by a fougère fragrance from 1950, its avant-garde composition is invigorated by touches of nature and lightness. A fougère as clear as morning in a new location and at the same time wraps itself in a cocoon of sustainable elegance. FOUGAIR - for free urban spirits.
Since its re-establishment in 2012 as JF Schwarzlose Berlin, the perfume house has stood for fragrances that combine the spirit of the times with timelessness, paying homage to its roots. Fougere is inspired by the spirit of the times, formation, and natural change. Thus, at the time of the founding of the Schwarzlose & Söhne perfume house by Berlin piano maker Joachim Friedrich Schwarzlose, the era of perfumes that merely imitated floral scents had already begun. Shortly thereafter, a perfume revolution took place in Europe: by extracting plant materials, perfumers could now compose olfactory chords into artistic olfactory bouquets. The history of modern perfumery had begun—and one of the first was a remarkable innovation.
